Rebel Cycle prides ourselves on having an array of instructors with a variety of musical tastes and riding styles. We encourage everyone to try different instructors and find the one you can connect with most for that extra boost of motivation during classes.

Courtney caught the cycling bug while taking classes at High Point University in 2022 and hasn't looked back since. She loves the way a great playlist, a dark room, and a little determination can turn an ordinary day into something unforgettable.
Outside the studio, Courtney works at SAS, enjoys lifting weights, running, and is always chasing her next fitness goal. In her classes, you can expect high energy, good vibes, and music that spans all genres. Her goal is simple: create a space where you can challenge yourself, have fun, and leave feeling stronger, more confident, and maybe just a little sweaty.
Courtney's background:

Courtney is one of the two owners of Rebel Cycle and has dedicated her life to helping others adopt healthy lifestyles. Courtney is a Licensed Physical Therapist by day (see Rebel PT info) but group fitness junkie by night who loves all things exercise. Courtney enjoys cycling, running, resistance training, and any type of exercise that makes you break a good sweat!
Courtney developed a passion for indoor cycling while studying to obtain her bachelor's degree because it was the first form of group exercise that allowed her to escape to another place and forget about the stressors of her day. She wants everyone to feel comfortable coming to her class and strives to create a fun and stress relieving atmosphere.

Kyle is one of the two owners of Rebel Cycle. He is a structural engineer by day, but avid cycling fanatic by night.
Kyle started indoor cycling approximately 10-years ago. While he may not have be the stereotypical cycling build, he found a passion for cycling in small classes in Pittsburgh. His initial cycling experience showed him that cycling could push your muscles to a level of soreness that other forms of cardio couldn’t. His goal is to bring people of all backgrounds, ages, and body types to the bike. He understands the initial apprehension of entering a class for the first time with a number of experienced cyclists and is here to help you overcome that stigma.
In his spare time, Kyle enjoys lifting, running, and hanging out with his pups. Kyle has been playing guitar and bass for over 15 years. Kyle’s classes feature music of all genres and varieties.

Maria brings a feisty energy to Rebel Cycle, leaning on years of teaching experience at various studios in northern Virginia and the DC metro area.
Maria crafts a fiery playlist blending genres and decades in what is sure to be a great time on the bike. You may even hear her show off her vocals from time to time during class (whether that' s a good thing is TBD).

Rebecca is a certified cycle instructor who is dedicated to creating a ride that is fun and encouraging for all. She began her spin journey in 2022 and has not looked back. Rebecca’s spin obsession developed into her instructing for a year with Cyclebar in Cary before moving to the lovely Fuquay-Varina area and becoming a rider at Rebel.
Rebecca and her husband live in Willow Spring with their three dogs. When she is not on the bike she is enjoying live music, eating yummy food and possibly at a local brewery. By day, Rebecca is a mental health therapist.
With a background in dance, Rebecca hopes to create a dance party on the bike. Her favorite part of the spin experience is when the music is loud and you’re feeling the rhythm and you don’t even notice that you are working out, it’s just fun.
Becca's background:
