The Rebel PT vision is to offer a physical therapy experience that feels different than your traditional visit in a doctor’s office. All too often, patients feel pushed through the medical system, not listened to, and feel they have no voice in their own medical care. Rebel PT is here to change that. At Rebel PT, we want all patients to feel heard, play an active role in their care, and help guide them back to doing the things they love.
Rebel PT is owned and operated by Fuquay-Varina resident Dr. Courtney Smiach, PT, DPT, OCS. She treats alongside Dr. Christy Payne, PT, DPT. Both have a passion for delivering the best physical therapy services in the area and would love to help you overcome whatever challenges you may be facing.

Our Treatment Method
At Rebel PT, we believe in performing a thorough orthopedic and/or pelvic floor examination in order to properly diagnose and develop a treatment plan for our patients. We utilize various forms of manual therapy to aide with pain reduction as seen appropriate for each patient (mobilization, manipulation, dry needling, soft tissue mobilization). Lastly, we believe that exercise is the most important form of therapy to help people obtain lasting results and will design a specific program for each patient.
